Second ABPA, were shipped 277.7 million tons as compared to 307.8 billion in the same month of 2014

The Brazilian chicken meat export presented fall of 9.8% in volume in January. According to the ABPA (Brazilian Association of Animal protein), were shipped 277.7 million tons as compared to 307.8 metric tons in the same month of 2014. The exporting sector foreign exchange revenue of $ 494,4 million, indentation of 14.3% in relation to the registered in the first month of last year.

For the Chief Executive of ABPA, Francisco Turra, the fall of international oil price may have influenced the eventual lack of credit in some markets importers. "We have examples like that of Angola, which decreased almost 50% in volumes of chicken imported from Brazil. The same scenario appears to have occurred with Venezuela and Russia. In the case of the Russian market, there is still the aggravating of the logistical problems in ports caused by severe winter in Eastern Europe, "explained the President.
